Kitchell is one of four U.S. firms that pioneered the concept of construction management in the early 1970s and later tailored it specifically to the public sector. In the 1990s, we opened specialized divisions that included Custom Homes, Master Planned Communities and one dedicated to Native American projects. And in 2000, we added a medical-facilities equipment and occupancy planning subsidiary known as Facilities Development Inc. (FDI) to our list of expertise.
