VFMC Joins the Kitchell Family!

The thriving practice of San Jose, Calif.-based Valley Facilities Management Corporation (VFMC), a longstanding name in the facilities management industry in Northern California, is now a  part of our Kitchell family, enhancing our growing FM portfolio with the addition of several major Silicon Valley customers and 40-plus facilities management professionals.

This acquisition represents maintenance contracts with several major names ranging from Internet, health services, biotechnology and medical device companies to manufacturing and warehouse complexes. These maintenance contracts encompass critical operations, including data infrastructure, intermediate and main-distribution frame closets. The work requires maintaining impeccable, climate-controlled environments 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our in-house team of professionals provides facility condition assessments, operation & maintenance, integrated facility management, staff augmentation, CMMS management and facility consulting. Pre-emptive maintenance decreases corrective work orders (and costs associated with them), improves efficiency and extends the life of equipment. Our approach considers predictive, planned and preventive maintenance within a collaborative and strategic method that is based on your needs and budget.
