Environmental Services
With issues related to green building criteria, environmental compliance, assessments and remediation, waste management/recycling, and alternative energies, environmental expertise is a rapidly evolving and increasingly complex specialty within the construction industry.
It is much more than helping owners achieve LEED certification. Kitchell Environmental Services is at the forefront of balancing the needs of expanding communities while protecting resources and ecological systems. Our industry leaders are sought out by state legislatures, universities, associations and competing firms to share knowledge about environmental challenges facing the construction industry and solutions for addressing these issues, including:
      • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Programs (SWPPP)
      • Dust Control Education, Management and Services
      • Waste Management Programs
      • Environmental Due Diligence
      • Regulatory and Community Liaison
  • LEED AP ™

EPA Recognizes Kitchell for Its Role in Development of Dust Control Guide

Along with the Maricopa County Air Quality Department, Kitchell Environmental Services was recognized in 2010 by the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Air and Radiation for development of Maricopa County’s Dust Handbook and Field Guide. Kitchell helped produce the handbook, which explains dust control rules and instructs how to limit airborne dust during construction.

Kitchell is in good company. Union Pacific Railroad, Placer County, Eglin Air Force Base, New York University, and Houston-Galveston Area Council were among the twelve municipalities and organizations that received awards.
