Kitchell is 100% employee-owned. Our profit-sharing program, the brainchild of founder Sam Kitchell, enables any employee to become vested in the company, contributing to longevity and loyalty. Our company leaders, many with decades of tenure, are a testament to the importance we place on individuals and their impact on our history, and ability to shape our future.

Tax-Deferred Savings/401(K)

Employees are eligible for 401(k) upon hire and may elect to defer up to 50% of their salary. Kitchell matches 25% of an employee’s first 6% of contributions. The annual match eligibility and vesting schedule is the same as the profit sharing.


Our coverage includes benefits to cover yourself and others in your family through a CDHP (Consumer-Driven Health Plan), which utilizes an HSA (Health Savings Account), allowing you to put aside pre-tax dollars each week to pay for health, dental and vision care.


Options include basic and more extensive coverage including orthodontia.
