We cemented our reputation as a leading healthcare builder soon after building our first hospital, Good Samaritan in Phoenix, in the 1950s. While much has changed since then, two constants remain: a commitment to stay abreast of rapidly changing developments in healthcare construction and a passion for quality on these very special buildings.

The leading healthcare builder in the Southwest, Kitchell has been a Modern Healthcare Top 15 Healthcare Builder since 1983. Our healthcare construction specialists are ASHE-certified and continuously trained in infection control, med gas and risk management. Estimators, schedulers and pre-construction staff are dedicated exclusively to healthcare projects, and we are fanatical about minimizing disruption to ongoing activities while maintaining patient safety.
