  • Fremont Union High School District Measure B

    A $198 million bond program benefiting five high schools with technology, science labs, energy efficiency measures, classrooms, athletic facilities and replacement of HVAC systems.

  • Ogden City School District Bond Program

    A $103 million bond program with projects on four separate campuses.  All designs incorporate security features, meet current seismic codes and provide spaces designed for the 21st century learning environment, including enhanced technology and maker spaces.

  • Cupertino Union School District Measure A, B & H

    Separate bonds totaling $509 million to provide renovations, expansions and new construction of campuses, as well as modernization of utilities and communications systems.

  • Rough Rock Community School

    A LEED Gold and LEED Silver certified remote school with housing on the Navajo Nation land. The project is primarily ARRA-funded and received 90 percent Native American participation rate throughout construction.

  • Glendale Unified School District, Hoover High School Track & Field

    Kitchell was the lease-leaseback contractor for a $4.6 million track and field renovation and modernization project providing renovations and modernizations to the existing athletic field and track, including 80,000 SF of new synthetic turf, a new rubberized running track, a new 1,500 SF restroom building, new athletic field lighting, ADA renovations, and an underground storm water containment and percolation system.

  • Roseville City School District Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Projects

    Kitchell served as Construction Manager At Risk for ten projects at nine sites. The projects incorporated the construction of a mulit-purpose building at each of the five sites, the construction of three classroom wings at one of the existing sites, the modernization of existing classrooms at one site, the construction of two new elementary schools, a district office and another modernization project.

  • San Francisco Unified School District 2016 Proposition A Bond Program

    A $744 million bond program to provide repairs, maintenance and seismic upgrades to existing SFUSD facilities, as well as construct new schools. This is the third bond program that Kitchell has supported for SFUSD since 2008.

  • Madera Unified School District, Matilda Torres High School

    A new $180 million, 260,000 SF high school consisting of single and two-story buildings including a 9,628 SF vocation technology building featuring a fabrication lab, as well as a 3,747 SF culinary arts building including a culinary lab and café. READ MORE

  • Irvine Unified School District, Measure E Bond Program

    A $319 million bond program for facilities improvements at 28 of the District’s aging schools. The bond was passed in June 2016 to ensure all students have access to modern learning environments and technology to support the District’s high academic standards and prepare students for 21st century college and careers. Kitchell is part of the District’s on-call services for construction management, scheduling, estimating, staff augmentation and preconstruction services pool.

  • East Whittier City School District, Bond Measure Programs R & Z

    Two bond programs totaling $94 million providing facility modernizations to address the needs of the schools. The $70 million Measure R bond provides facility upgrades, beginning with new roofing and fencing, asphalt and concrete replacement and flooring at four elementary schools and repainting of lunch shelters, covered walkways and storage bins at eight elementary schools. The $24 million Measure Z bond provides technology upgrades.

  • Folsom Cordova Unified School District, Construction Management Services

    On-Call construction multi-prime services for the District’s upcoming modernization, new construction and miscellaneous projects, including a new $23.9 million classroom building and remodel of the Administration Building at Carl H. Sundahl Elementary School.

  • Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, Measure J Bond Program

    A $245 million bond program providing classroom modernizations, repair of aging infrastructure and facility renovations throughout the District’s 20 campuses. Kitchell is managing two of the main bond program projects at Livermore High School and Granada High School, as well as projects at East Avenue Middle School and Joe Michell K-8.

  • Tolleson Elementary School District, Construction Project Management Services

    A $12 million capital bond funding construction at several campuses including new classroom spaces, gymnasium/athletic facilities and upgrades such as HVAC replacement, fire alarms and security, roof replacements, replacement of worn tile and carpets, improvement of school grounds, furniture and equipment replacement, technology equipment upgrades and exterior wall repairs and weatherproofing.
