Kitchell provided program management, construction management, project management, owner’s representative and preconstruction services for this new $30.9 million, two-story, 46,500 SF, LEED Platinum certified building constructed on the former library site. The building houses all campus student services, including administration, admissions and records, financial aid, student life, counseling, career/transfer, health center, bookstore and food services. The facility can accommodate dining, events and conferences for 250 participants. The facility exterior is concrete panel rain screen system and steel structure, curtain wall system, storefronts, type-II sprinklered. The building interior is metal stud framing with new finishes throughout. Scope of work includes associated site work such as renovations to an existing parking lot, new utility infrastructure and landscaping.
