A new $8.4 million, 7,500 SF, LEED Platinum certified, two-bay double-deep fire station replacing the original station built in the mid-1970s. The new station features an apparatus area with support/maintenance areas, residential living areas, administrative offices and training rooms. The project also included the construction of a temporary fire station in order to keep the fire station’s services fully operational during construction.

Exterior modifications include on-site parking, drainage, lighting and landscaping and street frontage road improvements. The new fire station was designed and built in conformance with the Essential Services Building Seismic Safety Act of 1986.
